Noank Rowing Club (NRC-flier) is a non-profit ‘building community one stroke at a time’. NRC is for all ages, abilities and seasons based out of Beebe Cove, Noank Connecticut. NRC owns and maintains both sweep and sculling equipment, rowing out of the Spicer Park on Beebe Cove.

Beebe Cove’s encircled waterway is located on the west side of the Mystic River, offering superb flat water conditions for learners and surprisingly calm water most windy days for the experienced! The cove’s railroad bridge provides access to the Mystic River enabling long distance training, sight seeing and open water touring (view chart).

We offer programs for a range of ages, fitness levels and abilities. For additional information about the programs we provide or to see the upcoming calendar of events, check out our Programs & Events and Calendar.

In addition to classes, we also provide opportunities for club members to row on their own or together on a semi-formal basis. There are regular morning and evening gatherings and events so members can connect with one another, perhaps row together in one of our team boats, or simply enjoy our Beebe Cove location. While some members like to remain in Beebe Cove, other more experienced people prefer to go out on the Mystic River for a longer workout, more varied surroundings, or more challenging conditions.

In all activities, club-sponsored or individual, we take boating safety very seriously and require that all members follow the safe-boating procedures laid out in the Club’s Rules and Regulations.
